For Authors
Submit ManuscriptThe Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal invites you to submit an article for publication.
Submission Standards:
While our Journal prefers articles that employ multidisciplinary legal analysis—such as law and economics, law and sociology, or law and medicine—we also consider traditional law review articles. We encourage submissions by legal scholars, as well as non-legal scholars, professionals, and other writers.
Articles: We prefer articles between 10,000 words and 30,000 words (including footnotes)
All submissions should conform to the 21st edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.
However, because scholars from other disciplines may not be familiar with the Bluebook, our editors will work with authors after acceptance to conform the articles to our requirements.
Please include a current CV and an abstract of your article or essay.
Any questions should be directed to ilj@lawmail.usc.edu.
